This summer, MassHire Greater New Bedford Workforce Board’s Summer YouthWorks initiative successfully recruited youths and worksites for our state-funded program, providing over 280 young people with the opportunity to gain valuable part-time work experience for six weeks.

MassHire of Greater New Bedford is now accepting applications for the 2024 YouthWorks Summer Employment Program. Youthworks connects young leaders between the ages of 14 and 25 to seven weeks of paid summer employment and exposes them to growing and sustainable career paths along the way.
On Wednesday, May 15th from 9:00 to 12:00 pm, we are inviting local businesses from every industry to join us in engaging hundreds of SouthCoast high school students preparing to enter the workforce! This event is free to all participating organizations and is a great opportunity to engage talented candidates while exposing students to different career pathways and job opportunities.
