MassHire Greater New Bedford is celebrating National Apprenticeship Week from April 26 through May 2, 2026. We have proudly received a proclamation from the City of New Bedford, signed by Mayor Jon Mitchell, proclaiming this week National Apprenticeship Week. The theme this week is “America at Work: Making America Skilled Again through Registered Apprenticeship.” As our nation celebrates its 250th year, Registered Apprenticeship is a key strategy for businesses to utilize to build a skilled workforce.
