The MassHire Southeast Workforce Boards held their first Healthcare Job Fair on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Bridgewater State College. The event was part of the CommCorp HW/BH Hubs Grant capacity-building initiative and focused on connecting job seekers with healthcare employers from across the Greater Brockton and South Shore areas.
The event drew 15 employers and 69 job seekers, creating meaningful opportunities for connection and recruitment within the region’s growing healthcare sector. The job fair was free for employers to participate, and many expressed appreciation for its healthcare-specific focus. Employers also praised the high quality of attendees, noting that many were skilled and credentialed professionals who matched their hiring needs.
Job seekers had the chance to meet directly with employers, explore a variety of healthcare career paths, and network with industry professionals. With the launch of the new South Coast commuter rail service, it was easier than ever for participants from across the region to attend.
A second Healthcare Job Fair is planned for spring/summer 2026, which will highlight employers in the Greater New Bedford, Fall River, Taunton, and Attleboro areas.
