Medical Assistant Training Program Starts in 2026 Hurry! Space is Limited This Medical Assistant program will provide you with the skills you need to perform administrative and clinical tasks in a professional medical setting as a nationally certified Medical Assistant. ABOUT THE COURSE This program takes an average of 26 weeks and includes in-class and online coursework and a four-week full-time hands-on externship at a medical employer facility. WHO IS ELIGIBLE? MassHire grants are for income-eligible or unemployed individuals who are seeking employment. Grants will only be awarded to those who agree to find training related employment upon course completion and obtainment of industry certification. MassHire also provides job placement assistance to program participants. Professional healthcare workers are in demand.
