Cape Cod Community College, in partnership with Smart Automation Certification Alliance, is offering a FREE interactive online occupationally focused C-101 Certified Industry 4.0 Associate – Basic Operations training program. This instructor-led remote learning program prepares individuals to succeed in entry-level operation and assembly positions in modern production environments. This program is also ideal for individuals in other related occupations, such as IT, seeking to become versed in factory floor automation equipment and processes.

Dates: April 28 – June 30, 2020. Program seats are limited.

  • Basic Setup, Adjustment & Operation of Automated Machines

  • Blueprint & Schematic Reading
  • Precision Measurement
  • Basic Electrical Control, Pneumatic, & Sensor Systems Operation
  • Basic Robot Operation & Terminology
  • Production Monitoring via HMI, Internet, Ethernet, & Smart Phones

Our Smart Manufacturing Program is targeted toward entry-level operators and fully prepares students for the manufacturing occupation. Our C-101 Certified Industry 4.0 Associate – Basic Operations credential targets graduating high school students, first year of college Associate Degree students, and it can be offered as a certificate for incumbent workers.

This training is free of charge through the support of a manufacturing training grant from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development and the MassHire Southeastern Massachusetts Regional Partnership.
