Welding Training Program at Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School

 Program Overview This 200-hour course focuses on the fundamentals of welding and metal fabrication. The goal is to provide students with the hands-on skills needed to secure an entry-level job in the trade. Basic Skills Students will learn mechanical cutting operations, proper hand and power tool use, the arc welding process, and how to identify weld joints, types, and positions while practicing safe and proper operation of equipment. Certifications and Job Prep Students will identify careers in the metal fabrication and welding industry and receive assistance in creating welding-specific resumes as well as job search support. They will attain Hot Works and OSHA 10 certifications. Class Schedule Monday - Thursday 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM Orientation: Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 4:00 PM First Class: Monday, October 6, 2025.
