Machine Technology Training Program at Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School

 Program Overview This 200-hour course focuses on the fundamentals of machine technology. The goal is to provide students with the hands-on skills needed to secure an entry-level job in the trade. Basic Skills Students will learn: machining math, blueprint reading, metrology, lean manufacturing principles, mill and lathe, introductory programming and operating, and conversational/GM code. All instruction focuses on safety. Certifications and Job Prep Students will identify careers in the machining industry and receive assistance in creating industry-specific resumes as well as job search support. They will attain OSHA 10 General Industry certification. Class Schedule Monday - Thursday 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM Orientation: Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 4:00 PM First Class: Monday, October 20, 2025.
