Students completing this Phlebotomy Technician Certificate Program will be prepared to perform routine and special blood collection procedures as well as process specimens prior to testing in a modern clinical laboratory. ABOUT THE COURSE Hybrid program alternating between New Bedford, Fall River, and Taunton. Program length and format depends upon location. A 100-hour clinical practicum at an affiliate location is required. Students will also earn 7 college credits. WHO IS ELIGIBLE? MassHire grants are for income-eligible or unemployed individuals who are seeking employment. Grants will only be awarded to those who agree to find training related employment upon course completion and obtainment of industry certification. MassHire also provides job placement assistance to program participants. Professional healthcare workers are in demand. These positions offer great opportunities for individuals who want to start a career in the medical field!
