MassHire Greater New Bedford Workforce Board

The MassHire Greater New Bedford Workforce Board is seeking proposals via a Request for Proposals (RFP) to fund Out-of-School Youth, ages 16-24 through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) to provide programs for education, work experience, employment and/or training services. Programs must be for participants who reside in New Bedford, or any of our nine surrounding towns of Acushnet, Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Freetown, Lakeville, Marion, Mattapoisett, Rochester and Wareham.

Proposals are due Thursday, May 9, 2024, no later than 2 p.m.

2024 YouthWorks Summer Employment Program

MassHire of Greater New Bedford is now accepting applications for the 2024 YouthWorks Summer Employment Program. Youthworks connects young leaders between the ages of 14 and 25 to seven weeks of paid summer employment and exposes them to growing and sustainable career paths along the way.
